Find out about the fascinating textile industry : weaving techniques – Jacquard and Aubusson – and embroidery – “From the creation of a design to its completion”. You will also learn about the history of "La Filandière" mills in the workshop with its 28 looms, and by means of interactive activities and demonstrations. The “Maison du Tisserand” (weaver’s house) will take you back in time to the 1930s when people still did weaving on home looms.
This place is ideal for families with many interactive activities and events aimed at children from 4 to 14 years old, in addition to the four temporary exhibitions put on every year.
